Content & SEO Strategist

My client a global organisation are looking for a Content and SEO Strategist to help define and shape the SEO & Content strategy. You will be responsible for the creation of a central content team creating core international content and directing localised content creation. You will also gather requirements for the transition from multiple domains to one single unified website.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Define the vision for SiteCore from an SEO & content point of view
  • Champion the importance of organic traffic as a future marketing channel
  • Keep abreast of developments in SEO & content to provide thought leadership around future innovation, continuous improvement and best practice, and ensure the websites remain relevant and continue to deliver customer and business value
  • Develop a deep understanding of the potential business use and applications of the products and solutions produced
  • Accountable for the international stakeholder management of relevant brand and marketing teams
  • Chair the content & SEO centre of excellence
  • Provide overall management for new feature requests, requirements and their prioritization in line with the key processes
  • Define KPIs and SLAs and pro-actively track individual SEO performance against these in line with the broader goals set out
  • Collaborate with other product teams across the organisation to ensure cohesion and alignment to customer experience vision and principles
  • Support the definition of pilots and Business Cases, as required
  • Provide regular progress reports and escalate risks and issues in line with agreed governance processes, as required

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Proven record in managing SEO teams and business transformation
  • Demonstrable experience of digital products
  • Strong ideation skills (e.g. design thinking)
  • Exceptional customer focus, including internal customers
  • Strong entrepreneurial attitude
  • Excellent communication and networking skills to work with customers in guiding, advising, influencing and managing the expectations of stakeholders and leaders at all levels of business and influence solution design and delivery
  • Experience of leading teams in a complex, multi geography, multi-cultural and matrix environment
  • Strong understanding of relevant digital technologies, with the ability to harness their potential to drive customer and business value
  • Able to maintain strong customer focus while balancing business requirements and goals
  • Able to analyse and communicate technical concepts to create practical solutions and influence decisions
  • Strong personal impact and the ability to inspire confidence and positive action
  • Strong communications and influencing skills
  • Top-line understanding of analytics and its role within a product lifecycle
