Technical Consultant\IT Systems Admin (PaaS/SaaS) with experience and technical understanding of software applications and cloud\hosted environments to work within the Operations team .
The Operations Team are responsible for working alongside Developers, Consultants and support teams from the build and delivery of platform\environment to project go live and support.
Day to day activities
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing performance issues relating to on-premise and Azure hosted applications.
- Working alongside a support team to assist in 2 nd and 3 rd line application issues relating to server and infrastructure.
- Working within a continuous and fast pace industry, so able to adopt new technologies and processes.
- Working within the Azure Space to provision and monitor cloud resources.
- Must be proactive in identifying areas of improvement to both services and processes and be familiar with alerting, monitoring and performance tools.
Required Skills:
Microsoft Windows Server & Desktop Operating Systems.
Experience working with Powershell or similar scripting languages.
Microsoft SQL Server and\or similar query languages.
Exposure to Cloud Technology - Azure, Office 365
Good communication skills and be confident speaking direct to clients.
Strong knowledge of core networking technologies, comms, firewalls, windows server operating systems.
