The Company

My client is a new Challenger Bank and based in the heart of Manchester.  They have recently obtained their banking licence and will be supplying services to SME business customers from Autumn onwards.

This role is responsible for taking owner ship of the design, development and transition of Service model. Providing expertise across framework implementation, service capability and

Main Responsibilities & Experience Required

  • Service lifecycle management from service design to service transition
  • Implement a rigorous framework for evaluating service capabilities and risk profiles before deployment
  • Establishing and maintaining the integrity of service assets
  • Providing efficient repeatable mechanisms for building, testing and deploying services and releases
  • Ensuring that services can be managed, operated and supported in accordance with constraints specified during the service design stage of the service lifecycle.
  • Responsible for the transition and management of a number of services into operations
  • Work to a defined process to ensure successful handover to ops teams making sure they have the Knowledge and skills to enable a smooth transition
  • Cover the release, test management and change management having a solid background with managing people to achieved desired outcome and gaining buy in for business changes
  • Lead and define user journeys
  • Articulate the vision for products and services, you’ll identify opportunities for cost reduction and improvement
  • Familiar with service design deliverables and service blueprints
  • Proactive about planning ahead
  • Identify key issues and actions
  • Proven Service Transition background and experience supporting service/project lifecycles
  • Ideally hold an ITIL certification and be experienced with communicating with different stakeholder groups
